I am a teacher that loved to recycle and help save the earth. I also loved to have flea markets and yard sales. So when my principal had to get rid of 6 of my fellow colleagues, I noticed they were throwing things away that I knew another teacher could use. That is how St. Louis Teachers Trading Post started. Then in 2016 I was looking for a brick and mortar to move all the materials that were filling up my 1 bedroom apartment.  I found a location with another non profit and was on Telegraph. I was there for 5 years and out grew that location which led to me finding my own space. We found this great warehouse that needed some work but it is still not the way I dreamed it would be but I hope one day it will be. I hope with the help of the community I can be a location for classes, events and resources for all at a reasonable cost.
